Our mission is to provide programs and services that educate, connect, develop and advocate to improve the lives of the Down syndrome community.

  • New families are welcomed through partnerships with local hospitals, agencies and personal connections
  • Families with new babies are given a welcome basket full of resources, gifts and books to assist them on the start of their journey
  • Families with older individuals are welcomed with a special book and resource cards for connections support and resources for all

extended support and resources

  • DSSW provides support and programs for infants, through adulthood
  • DSSW maintains healthy relationships with area agencies who provide services outside of our scope. No age is excluded
  • Families can connect with DSSW at any point in their loved one’s life
