It’s been 20 years since the organization held its first walk, and we’re excited about continuing the tradition! As with every year, our event features a 1-mile walk of fame for families, advocates and supporters to walk alongside individuals with Down syndrome in our families and communities. This walk of fame features over 115 individual yard signs showcasing individuals served by the organization, along with area business supporters who provide support to continue our programs and initiatives. Our route starts at Riverside Park and winds to Central, then Museum Blvd, and finally back to Riverside park.

Immediately after the walk, registered participants are treated to lunch, sponsored by Thrive Restaurant Group, along with soundstage acts, over 30 games, sno cones, a photo booth, community resources and much more! Registered participants also receive a commemorative t-shirt with their registration (shirts available until 9/08).
